Orange UK Has Chosen Incard's MoKard

Orange UK has chosen Incard as a supplier for its 32K Java SIM card. Incard's Java SIM, the MoKard is based on a 32-bit RISC architecture microprocessor, equipped with a powerful ARM7 core. The MoKard has been recognized to be one of the most powerful SIM cards available on the market.

It is fully compliant with the latest JavaCard technology specifications, and it offers a fast and interoperable value added service. On top of this platform, a joint development process took place, involving Incard and Orange UK as technical partners, making this product innovative and technically advanced.

"Since joining the project , Incard have demonstrated a first-rate understanding of Java technology and by working closely with Orange, Incard have successfully delivered within a short time-scale interoperable Java SIM cards that prove to be both fast and reliable," commented Gwen Edwards, Orange UK. "This has enabled Orange to begin the move towards more advanced Java SIM cards."
