LEGIC Business Unit Asia Formed In Hong Kong

LEGIC announces the establishment of its Business Unit Asia in Hong Kong. For the past five years, LEGIC has served its Asian partners out of Singapore. With the growing number of Asian LEGIC partners, particularly in the Chinese market, making up more than 30% of its total client base of more than 130 partner firms world-wide, LEGIC has decided to shift its operations closer to its largest market in Asia, the Chinese market. This has resulted in the decision to establish the company's Asia Business Unit in Hong Kong.

"Our main objective is to be closer to our clients in the region and to be able to react more quickly to their needs", says Klaus Klosa, LEGIC's MD. LEGIC's Asia Business Unit will be managed by Peter Suter who has overseen the Asian LEGIC operations from Singapore for the past five years. Rocky Zhan Min, an experienced RFID specialist, will serve as Technical Sales Manager.

"There's a real need to bridge the language and cultural gap and with our Asia hub we will become more of a local player, one that's there for the long run", adds Stephen Neff, Marketing & Sales Manager at LEGIC's HQ.
