Hypercom 1st To Achieve SPAN2 In Saudi Arabia

Hypercom announced that its Optimum T4210 is the 1st card payment terminal to receive Saudi Payments Network (SPAN2) certification by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, the central bank of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. With the certification, Hypercom becomes the only high-security e-Transaction solutions provider offering both SPAN1 (old switch) and SPAN2 (new switch) compliant terminals in the country. The T4210’s country-specific software application is also the 1st to receive Terminal Integration Process (TIP) and Acquirer Device Validation Toolkit (ADVT) compliance reports from MasterCard and Visa CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East, Africa), respectively.
